Today was our first lecture with Sam Proud, who handles our website module. He showed us examples of some of his friends’ and colleagues’ websites that he admires. He also showed his own website and some of the work he has done over the years. I was particularly interested in the album design artwork he did in the late 1990s and early 2000s around Brighton. There was very interesting animation work he had done on a software which I had not heard of before.
The second part of the lecture was based on learning and creating a simple WordPress site for our work. We will be learning more about Html and learning how to update and customize a web page through coding.
