Blender: Cell Fracture

I have been exploring Blender for the last few days, and found an effect which simulates fracturing fragments on an object that you place it on. I put it on a square and watched as it fell to bits in a very aesthetically pleasing way. I will definitely use this for the project; it looks useful in more ways than one. I've been using some of these tutorials from youtube:
