I watched a very interesting Blender talk with a spokesperson for the company. The guy was funny and just generally a character. It was fascinating what he would do with Blender, like taking a photo of a place he had visited and then creating a 3D model out of it.
The coffee shop was the one I enjoyed the most; he spots minute details and then figures out a way of making them 3 dimensional.
